This month PRECISIONheor would like to highlight the work and expertise of Vice President Jacki Chou. Jacki’s areas of expertise include:

• Advanced analytics and simulations
• Mixed-methods approaches
• Strategy and education to communicate key aspects of value and disease burden to manufacturers, policymakers, payers, physicians, and patients

Recently, Jacki led various Precision presentations at Virtual ISPOR 2021, including her moderation of the panel discussion “The Future and Evolution of Advanced Modeling Techniques to Support the Development of COVID-19 Mitigation and Prevention Policies”. She also co-presented the workshop “Modeling and Simulations for Healthcare Decision Maker: Battling COVID-19 and Other Biomedical Challenges.”

In addition, she also contributed as a co-author to a recently-published study of note: “Understanding the Impact of COVID-19 on Schizophrenia Population Health Management: A Mixed-Methods Study of Population Health Decision Makers.” This study sought to understand PHDMs’ perceptions of challenges, policies, and programs related to schizophrenia population health management, both generally and in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
