This month PRECISIONheor would like to highlight the work and expertise of Vice President Shannon Cope.
Shannon specializes in evidence synthesis studies including:
- Indirect comparisons
- Population-adjusted indirect comparisons
- Multi-level network meta-regressions that integrate aggregate and individual patient level data from randomized controlled trials, single-arm clinical trials, and observational studies, as well as expert opinion from structured expert elicitation studies
Recently, Shannon contributed to two presentations for Virtual ISPOR EU 2021 including:
- Workshop: Addressing uncertainty around clinical and population health data in health care decision-making: a COVID-19 case study.
- Wednesday, December 1 Issue Panels and Workshops 12:30-13:30 CET
- Podium Presentation: A Case Study and Simulation to Compare Different Indirect Treatment Comparison Methods Under Varying Access to Individual Patient Data
- Available on-demand now until Jan 2 to all conference attendees
Additionally, Shannon contributed to two recent impactful posters:
- Expert elicitation of long-term survival (LTS) for patients (pts) with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) treated with idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel, bb2121) in the KarMMa phase 2 trial
- A Targeted Review of Indirect Treatment Comparison Synthesis Methods That Do Not Rely on the Proportional Hazard Assumption
