Featured Expert: Rozanne Wilson
This month PRECISIONheor highlights the newest addition to the team, Senior Research Scientist Rozanne Wilson, PhD.
With a background in rehabilitation sciences and psychology, Dr. Wilson has 17 years of combined academic and industry research experience using qualitative and quantitative methods to generate new knowledge and innovative tools that promote person-centred care.
Dr. Wilson has experience leading, collaborating, and managing projects aimed at improving person-centred care and social participation of adults living with chronic conditions.
In her previous role, Dr. Wilson collaborated on a portfolio of diverse projects and was responsible for all aspects of the projects, including proposal writing, protocol development, IRB submission/approval, site/participant recruitment, development of study materials, data collection (e.g., qualitative interviews [cognitive interviews, concept elicitation interviews, moderating focus groups], questionnaires), data management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and dissemination activities (abstracts, conference presentations, manuscripts).
Additionally, she has experience in the development and evaluation of patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures, stakeholder engagement, and academic teaching.
Dr. Wilson has over twenty publications in peer-reviewed journals, such as The Journal of the COPD Foundation, JMIR-Nursing, The Patient- Patient-Centered Outcomes Research, Quality of Life Research, JMIR-Aging, Journal of Clinical Nursing, Journal of Communication Disorders, and the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research.
