This month, PRECISIONheor highlights Vice President Patrick Sullivan, PhD.

Dr. Sullivan specializes in:

• Economic models of disease and treatment, including cost-effectiveness analyses
• Retrospective database studies of healthcare resource use (HRU) and cost
• Utility assessment and modeling

Before joining PRECISIONheor, Dr. Sullivan spent 20 years in academia as a tenured professor of healthcare economics and outcomes research (HCRU) in schools of pharmacy, while running his own consulting company. Dr. Sullivan has directed or overseen numerous HEOR projects and published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in HEOR and clinical journals.

Some of his most impactful publications include:

• Complications and health care resource utilization associated with systemic corticosteroids in children and adolescents with persistent asthma
• Impact of allergies on health-related quality of life in patients with asthma
• Healthcare resource utilization, expenditures, and productivity in patients with asthma with and without allergies
